I hit up the Air Show yesterday (and discovered I'm going to buy a dSLR a lot sooner than I expected). My current digital is a Panasonic FZ20 and it is a great camera...except for high speed stuff like this (OMG did I miss having an optical viewfinder!).

we saw the cave saturday... have you guys seen it? we really liked it. and yesterday.... we didn't do a damn thing, i cleaned house and that was it. then i started watching miami ink for the first time. damn it was just as addictive as getting ink [img]eek.gif[/img]

We did some yard work, then were lounging around the living room...when all of a sudden, one of our dogs sat up and started screaming her head off for no apparent reason. My wife tried to examine her, but she just kept screaming and we couldn't tell what was wrong exactly. Because my wife's clinic was closed yesterday, we had to rush our dog over to Tufts...it turned out to be some swelling in her spine and neither my wife nor the doctor we saw could figure out what had caused it. Most likely she fell or something while we were out doing yard work and her spine swelled up afterwards. It was awful to hear her scream like that...she's a tough little dog and NEVER yowls in pain unless it's really severe. She seems o.k. now, but she has to rest for the next few weeks and be on meds. So my labor day sucked [img]frown.gif[/img]

Yesterday was my one day off with no school and no work. My cousin was in town for the last day yesterday and I ended up not doing a damn thing because he came to say goodbye for a LONG time!!

I spent most of my weekend with Adam..also hung out with my sister for a little while. Luckily both of them live within a few miles of me, so I didn't do much driving.

I almost hit some idiot kid on a bike going to Adam's house, though..stupid kid came out from a side road without looking. I was only going 20mph, so I stopped in time..when I stopped, his bike was completely in front of my car. if I'd been doing faster..well..he'd either be badly injured or dead right now. it scared the shit out of me, and I didn't drive for the rest of the day.
